Abyssal titan

Has anyone ever used one? Is it annoying because it is so big or is there no difference? Since theyre about twice as cheap as lurkers at the moment.

While this is here anyway, could you comment on the following methods (suggest better alternatives)?

 

Rc - astrals (not gonna zmi since I cant be bothered rcing without making money and I need the money for other skills)

Smithing - addy arrowtips, no sc

Crafting - green d'hide bodies, no sc

Fletching - broad arrows

Cooking - wines (any tips on buying jugs of water?)

Wc - ivy

Mining - concentrated gold

Hunter - chins (unless you know anything that makes grenwalls more bearable)

Fishing - only one Im not sure on, barb fishing still good or are rockfish or whatever the 85 fish is also good?

Construction - oak doors

Agility - pieing lvl 90 course

Thieving - pyramid plunder (new guild any good?)

Firemaking - yews or something similar

As for the other questions ill comment on what I know.

 

Cook - Its faster and probably cheaper to cook fish.

Fletch - Broad arrows. Im not sure on the prices but i imagine it would be difficult to sell broad arrows in large quantities. Making yew/magic longs is pretty fast xp in itself, easy to buy and sell and atm you currently make a profit.

Wc - Ivy. :)

Fishing - Barb fishing/ shile fly fishing to 90. Rockfish from 90+

Contruction - Oak larders.

Firemaking - Maples are solid xp. Yews if you don't mind wasting the gps.

Crafting - Green dhide bodies are fast xp, but considered very expensive xp. Battlestaffs etc might be a better option.

Could try steam runes(there's a guide on them here on tif).

Smithing-superheat the gold you mine.

Fletching-broad arrows(will cost you a lot, but it's also fast xp yet you cant sell the arrows).

Cooking-wines, buying the empty jugs and filling them up using lunar.(I did this for 35k of them).

Mining-gold is good; could superheat it.

Hunter-grenwalls are more gp/hr and i'll tell you more about the xp part ingame.

Fishing-I'd go with barb fishing.The time you save is worth the ~35m or so you make fishing rocktails.

Thieving-either blackjacking in Pollvineach or blackjacking in the new guild(seems it's more xp that the normal way).

Firemaking-I'd go with yews aswell.

Oh will be filling the jugs myself then if it's not that bad.

And superheating the gold I mine is a really good idea :D

So you are going for 85-90 :-)

 

I don't really have anything to add though, but the superheating while mining, but that one's already said. Maybe just this one: why no SC? To me, it's a fun game to play, all in all it's not that inefficient, especially if you are short on cash. (in like: if you are really rich, even a method that "should only be done when you make more than 3m an hour", could still be viable, just cause you are lazy).

Haha yeah I think I'll be getting 85-90 since I'm kind of goal-less atm.

 

And I did consider sc but I really don't like more than 2-3 games of it, after that it becomes really boring. All that work over and over again every 10-20 mins for just points, it's not for me.

Ummmm, well for Agility, I tried to pie Barb... But it's a long course (lots of slow moving "stunts") so if I were you, just Gnome it to 90. Thats what I did/doing.

 

For fletching, someone did rc'ing with astrals, and fletching broad bolts while running to altar. An interesting idea I think. For Mining/Smithing, get 90 Mining, then smelt all that ore, THEN make addy arrows. 81-90 Mining will get me 88 Smithing, so 88-90 Smithing will not cost that much at all.

 

Sorry if the sentence phrasing is awkward, I stayed up all night getting 88-89 Agility. And now I gotta go to. bed >.<
