May 19, 201016 yr Katagon is as good as it gets in the starting room. Qeltar, aka Charles KozierokWebmaster, RuneScoop - Premium RuneScape Information for Expert Players -- Now Free!Featuring the Ultimate Guide to Dungeoneering -- everything you need to know to get the most of the new skill!
May 19, 201016 yr I'm only level 22, but I'm under the impression that the starting stuff you get is dependent on your related levels and the complexity. On lower complexities they only give you combat stuff to deal with so will supply most of your equipment whereas at 6 they give you everything to mess around with. Also, I'm under the impression that you get arrows in the tier that your ranged level is and a bow that's 1 lower. I don't think they've ever given me armour that's equal to my level other than on complexity level 1. Of course I'm still pretty low level and I'm sure someone else knows better. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
May 19, 201016 yr 1. Try to spell stuff right2. Katagon is probably the best you're going to hope for at that level PM me for fitocracy invite

At complexity 6 there is just random armor and weapons on the starting table. The tiers of the items depend on the levels of the players, but you never get anything above tier 8 on the starting tables (except fish). May 19, 201016 yr It adjusts according to your stats. I don't know the cut-off, but I recall a member saying he couldn't get the best armor he could - even though he had the requirements. So, I presume you would probably have to be a little higher than the requirement to get the armor associated with that requirement. I have a 80 spread in melee, 72 range, 72 magic, and I get all the best stuff. Bryll, Fractite, Dromo, Death runes, Staffs, etc. You can see the equipment tables by going to the skill guides on Tip.it or you could just click on the skill itself. If you want to mage and you want a specific staff, you should:F1C1 = Fire StaffF1C2 = Earth/Air StaffF1C3 = Water StaffF12C1 = Catalyst Staff/Air/Fire(Then bind it.)
