Money/Hour

Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea as to what sort of money I could make per hour? I've never taken a serious approach to money making, but have somehow got myself to the 35M mark - I would like to know, however, how much could make with my skills (in the sig below).

I also have all achievement diaries apart from Karamja Hard and Ardougne Elite, and nearly all quests done (only incomplete ones are Within the Light, Blood Runs Deep, Nomad's Requiem and Rune Mechanics).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :D

You can make tons of money with low skills; however, you need to let us know what skills you like/dislike. THEN we'll talk money options. Runecrafting is always my first pick for moneymaking.

Well, I already do MTK (10 herbs, 5 maples for nests). I occasionally do herb runs, but as I can only play at irregular intervals I tend to get a bit lazy. Hopefully however, I can start playing more regularly and get into the habit.

As for flipping...what is it? I think I have the rough idea (i.e. look at GE page for items that are traded a lot, and buy when they dip) - is this right?

As for skills, I can do skills that require concentration. I enjoy most skills, really - the only ones I have found frustrating are Hunter and Mining.

I'll just quote myself from another H&A thread, slightly changed to make sense to you:

Simply go to the GE, place your offers. Once the items buy, put them up for sale (for a higher price, obviously) and you've got around 4 hours or so to do other money making methods.

I know people are wary of trying to flip over the GE, but it's very easy to do as long as you pick commonly traded items, e.g. Barrows, Dragon Bones, Runes, Ores, Bars, Dragon Boots, Dragon Platelegs...etc. Just buy them a few gp under medium and sell for over medium.

For advice on good flipping items, you can always go to 'Rune Tips Cc'. They are very friendly and helpful, and are NOT a manipulation clan of any sort.

P.S: Flipping doesn't require you to be looking at charts very often, all you need to do is pick a few items that are fairly stable and flip them.

I always would plant herbs, MTK and then slay or runecraft. I've never had any money issues, even after two buyable skillcapes and a lot of money spent on armor, but I'm not sure how much that works out to per hour.

Your stats aren't really great for money making, you could make more collecting mort myre fungi or making unfinished potions, but imo I'd take reduced profit now training stats to get more profit later.

Personally I like slayer, it's bad for money, but at later levels abby demons/spiritual mages/most higher level slayer monsters give nice bonus drops. Slayer also improves your combat stats a lot, so you can fight bosses for some of the best money in game atm.

You could also runecraft, not much money now again, but you could probably get 500kish at least.

Mining- you won't make much (if any) until 77/80, but mining at LRC is pretty easy and ~300k/hour

Fishing- monkfish are pretty slow, rocktails are better, still not the best but again it's pretty easy

Thieving- master farmers are ok, you can make some decent money off herb seeds. You could also steal gems from rogues den, but thats not as great now

Magic- Superglass make, charging air orbs are both profitable. Maging iron dragons is break even or slightly profitable usually, unless you get a visage.

Crafting- making jewelry (especially sapphire necklaces/emerald rings) used to profit, but everything gem related is still crashing. After everything settles it'll probably still profit due to the demand for dueling rings/games necklaces

I'm not saying these are the best ways to make money, just some suggestions.

Of course you should also keep up herb runs and MTK.
