Quick farming question

Well I usually farm wergi and sell them grimy on the ge, noticed yday that they wouldnt sell at all yday but clean still auto'd for max... So long story I cleaned my 4k id farmed myself and dumped them (8.8k per), making a pretty nice profit, got the seeds for a couple of k a pop ages ages ago.

 

Now the question I have is has farming wergi's had its day? still got 500 seeds left, should I countine to farm them, or swtich to something like avantoe, toadflax etc (I'm plenty stocked with seeds for everything)? Also any clue what price they will settle on?

 

Oh ps, im 91 herby so not farming for own use just profit, and never get involved with the rare market and things street value etc. Just to help with advise :)

Well, as for the wergali hype, I never was a fan of those. At the start they were 50k ea or so, now they are 20k-25k. Almost not worth it anymore I'd personally say finish up a few more seeds till the hype really slows down. Sell regularly. I'd say 4 weeks of seeds you should keep, sell the rest now they are still worth something. I think werg's are necked by then.

 

Ofcourse I am not a master-merchant, so if anyone with more junk-market insight could give his/her predictions on the wergali hype.

 

Also, if you want:

Get the scroll of life from dungeoneering (10k tokens), these give you quite a significant extra profit over time when you use more expensive seeds like ranarr / snaps / torstol.

 

If you need a chart of profits, one can be found here (tough perhaps update required, it doesn't factor in 10% seedreturn from scroll of life, which favors expensive seeds)

Wergalis are still the most profitable herb to farm at the moment, so I would continue to do them, as they are in average 47k profit each seeds nowadays, with the second best seed being snapdragons at 37k. (if you have scroll of life, that is)

Wegali seeds are a little hard to buy, but as you apparently have enough of them, that won't be a problem.
