I think it's my low stats, to be honest. Apparently as soon as you hit 90 melees you instantly dont suck, start getting 40k exp more per hour, and hit the godmode switch.

Not even close, but how fast you slay is very dependent on how skilled you are with a mouse, so that's the best place to start improving.

Well, i'll keep slaying until 83 slayer...If I value Slayer exp at -26gp/exp, same as herblore, i'll get there in the end.

You REALLY need to relax and just . . . slay.

But picking something I enjoy and just doing it without any evidence to say it's the best course of action to take Is just...unfathomable!

Saw a lower combat level at the black demons today. It took him twice as long to do a single black demon as me. I didn't use any prayer except for soul split. I did use extremes.

 

Maybe we are all being overtly optimistic about how fast a task should go at a lower level.

But picking something I enjoy and just doing it without any evidence to say it's the best course of action to take Is just...unfathomable!

If you enjoy it, why does it matter if it takes you so long to do it? Getting to 99 slayer was something i enjoyed, i never once considered it a chore to do it. And when i did get tired of it i did something else, i would either play some games of Castle Wars or i would play some SC.

 

RS is a game, and it should be played like one. It shouldn't be a chore or homework the way some people are looking at it. Yes you can do some things efficiently, and you can calculate those out such as how much something costs. Some things like making potions or offering bones is limited to how long it takes to do that, and those can't be change because its how the game is. But with combat you can do it slower and still come out with the same exp, it just takes a little longer then if you maxed out the efficiency for it.

if you like it [bleep]ing do it. Who gives a [cabbage] how efficant it is. If its taking you too long, switch to a lower master.

I went to 80 slayer without guthans/summoning or a whip.

 

Couldn't afford the 12 million for guthans or whatever it was at that time. Summoning didn't exist.

 

I spend a lot of time getting bones 2 peaches so I could at least heal on site for some tasks. There weren't tablets yet for that.

 

 

I had fun though. It was nice to figure out how to accomplish tasks with my meager resources.
