secateurs give +10% if anybody doesn't know already

example:

so we know herbs seeds are about 6 herbs/seed average, 6.6 with secateurs

 

anybody know this for allotments?

I've had allotments vary so incredibly wildly that I just stopped caring. If I had to make at estimate I'd put it at around 10 with secateurs. I also noticed very minimal effect when using either compost.

In my experience, having a harvest under 10 with magic secateurs and compost is rare. I average 15-20, with my highest being 44 watermelons from one patch.

I've heard, and believe I've experienced, strongly increasing yields with higher levels. When I farmed watermelons a while back, I started out filling my inventory once most of the time, and towards the end, it was closer to twice. (This was before the leprechaun noted stuff. And I say an inventory as in, after accounting for all the other junk I carried.)

Off topic slightly: Herbs are around 6.8 when counting deaths. I've started gathering data on how many herbs come from a live patch, got about 140 points so far (limited to at most 5 a day, lol), and so far the average yield of a live patch is about 7.6.

I just harvested a crop of 3 from one field and 25 from the other. The kicker? I used super compost on the 3 patch and nothing on the 25 patch.

 

I've totally given up on caring about allotments. Watermelons are the only things worth planting and they're stupidly expensive.
