ff7 advent children

Movie #1 ff7 advent children.

I don't want to ruin the movie for the people who haven't seen it yet.

The plot wasnt as great as the game, but it still had substance. It had a good idea off it, and definitly a good storyline continuence. For people who haven't played ff7, they do a little quick run through at the start of the movie what happened in ff7. I highly suggest you play the game first thoroughly, otherwise the movie will not be as good.

Its a 3d movie, so the graphics were awesome. Good special effects, and just seeing the ff7 characters reappear was a cool feeling. The coolest battle scenes on any movie, and this movie has it.

I'de give it a 8 out of 10.

I thought it was a very good movie. Probably the best movie I've seen all year. It was visually breathtaking... The music was good, and it had a good storyline. I don't even think you really have to play the game to appreciate it. I loved it and I've never even really played Final Fantasy 7. The movie speaks for itself.

Much like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, the biggest draw back for this movie is the requirement to have played the game - very thoroughly.

I've only played a bit of FFVII and I was "wtf" through a lot of it. Pity really, I probably would've enjoyed it more if they didn't have such a huge dependancy on the people having played the game prior to seeing that movie.

@Runescape_Hyuggi: Then why post at all? :-?

I didn't enjoy Spirits Within, but FF7:: Advent Children, after playing pretty much all FF games (Emulator for originals :D) and being a huge fan, this film was amazing.

Easily can say one of the best films of the year. It was just.. incredible.

im with rick here, i didnt even get through the first cd, but i did know a little about it. some of the times its like "i recognize that place" or "that person", but everything moves by really quickly with no real explanation. i liked the graphics, so i was enertained the whole time, it just took a lot of concentration to figure out what the hell is going on.

AC had crazy graphics

and you don't really need to play the game(I did) IMO, but more just have a backround of what happened

such as

*spoilers for ff7*

seph kills aeris

seph was predead

(the pink name i can't remember) is what made sephiroth the way he was

cloud had the pink thingy inside of him

they killed seph in the end

that and a very minor brief of each character

FF:TSW was never based on a game... and thats what i disliked about it.. And i definitly didnt like that it was all way to futuristic...

BTW, it is sappoused to be realesed january 10th in northamerica, with a possibe showing in the theaters. But somone saied on RS (And i relaly dont trust them) that there was the UMD out already.. which wouldnt make sense cause the UMD isnt even out in japan.

FF:TSW was one of those branched off things. Baseline knowledge of the game generally helped to understand it more.

But that's just my feelings on it. I know it wasn't based off a game in particular, but it just helped in some ways.
