Dungeoneering made me quit

In my opinion, the skill is very awesome, even thought it is still incomplete:

- Is really fun to do. Doesnt involve grinding much.

- New equipment (both rewards and the ones inside the dungeons.) Looks and are awesome.

- Combat and ambient soundtracks (lolz, roonskaep musik.) are in my opinion, the best music pieces Jagex has done.

- Rewards are very handy and useful OUTSIDE of the skill.

- Nice emote :-o

 

You dont like it, you dont have to play it. It`s not like, that you must quit because of... oh wait, you already did.

I hate dungeoneering. It's horrible that we have to make our own equipment with rubbish stats, If only I could take in my BGS....... It's a MINIGAME Activity. The rewards are okay but not really worth it because there are better alternatives. I won't train it in daemonheim, or at all unless dungeoneering 2 allows it to be outside.

Just live with its existence.

It's justifiable if you're complaining about something getting in the way of something you enjoy, but it just makes you look like a whiner if you complain about something you don't need to care about to do everything you did before.

Complain as you like about Jagex, but think about what they've done. How many MMORPG designers go around to creating as complex an in-game world as Jagex? They do need to get around to making a equipable knife, though.

 

With everyone's complaining about updates, it's amzing that there isn't a forum topic on the fact that the chat box says "You can't reach that" (as opposed to "I can't reach that!").

May I ask what better alternatives have a potential of landing high hits often, give your seeds back, have unlimited water runes in shield slot, give immunity to poison or store 100 gems in 1 inventory slot?

I quit training the skill, because it's too hard to find a party.

 

I don't play too much, so my dungeoneering is pretty low, but everyone else is 30+ dungeoneering, and finding a party is too time consuming.

1: Godswords, whips, dharoks and barrelches anchors

2: Buy more seeds from the g.e with the profit from previous plants

3: A water/Mist/Mud staff in the weapon slot

4: Super and + and ++ Antipoisons

5: Note the gems in a bank

 

There you go, alternatives. The only one which dungeoneering is better at is the problem with the seeds.

Your counter"arguments" to 2,3,4, and 5 were all stupid. The point is that you make more money if you don't have to buy more seeds, the waters are unlimited from the SHIELD slot, you don't have to constantly buy and restock on anti poisons, and you can mine at gems with much higher efficiency or cut gems with higher efficiency.

 

I don't necessarily agree with him, but that was just a [developmentally delayed]ed post.

1: Okay, this one was bad example from me.

2: Buying more seeds is not the same thing as getting a second seed for free. Useful with torstols and other high level seeds.

3: I meant an item that gives unlimited runes without using it as an primary weapon. Previous post hints that. This means you can use 2 unlimited rune items at the same time. Also, ancients will not use waters, but you can also use damage boosting staff.

4: Can you wield antipoisons? Do they last forever?

5: Um yeah... what can I do with the notes then? And you cant note your gems while mining. With the bag you get 1 less than inventory of ores, but you can obtain all of the gems you get.

Oh, and also: Ranarr runs can make over 200k per hour, and that's maybe 20 actual minutes of planting and harvesting and running. The other 40 minutes you can do whatever. So yeah, I will eventually be farming for money.
