Castle Wars new rewards

Ballistas

Ballistas must be setup using four pieces bought from Lanthus in the Castle Wars lobby. Those pieces are: Ballista base, Ballista bow, Ballista bolt stock and Ballista chamber; each pieces costs 2 tickets and lasts only one game. Ballista ammo must be bought too, costing 1 ticket per bolt; only 30 bolts are allowed each game. Ballista stands are located in pairs, in front of the castle, by each stepping stones and in front of the bridge of the middle island.

 

Later on however, in the chart section for the ballista rewards, the guide says that Ballista Ammo costs 4 tokens per bolt.

 

I checked on the Jagex KB and there it says 4 tokens per bolt, so I am assuming this is correct (although I did not check in-game).

 

Essentially, in the paragraph about the Ballista it says that bolts are 1 ticket each, when it should say 4 tickets each.

I know, it doesn't describe the bolt purchase too well, but 4 tickets actually equates to 100 bolts, which is good enough for about 3 games. Spending tickets on ballista parts/bolts for 3 games in a row is possibly one of the worst things you could ever do, because you need to win 15 games in a row to start earning more tickets again (compared to your original total).

 

I made a suggestion before that they should turn all the ballista parts/ammo purchases into a single resellable expensive(ish) key that allows access to a ballista section of the castle storerooms, where you can still only take out one of each part and 30 ammo a match.
