June 1, 201016 yr Hey, just asking if anyone has brought one of the castle wars potion sets? I'm under the assumption that you can only consume them once, and you can only use them in one game. Is this true? Or can you continue using them after games?Wikipedia has no information that i can use, so i'm left in the blank. If you do lose them after games, they seem completely useless as they cost a game of castle wars in the first place, and you can bring in potions anyway :-\
June 1, 201016 yr The Knowledge Base states consumables can only be used during one game, which implies that you lose them after the game, but I have yet to verify this myself. I have bought one of them for Crew purposes, but I haven't taken them into a game yet. Also note that when you buy the set, it automagically becomes three or four different potions in your pack, which is not what I expected.
June 1, 201016 yr Author Ah yes, i heard they split into the potions they give, rather then an all in one thing. Hmm, if the knowledge base is correct then, and you get the same result, i don't see the helpfulness of the potions at all
June 1, 201016 yr I could see it useful for people who have lots of Castle Wars tickets, but don't want to spend money on potions just for the minigame. I wouldn't know if my guess is true though because I don't have many castle wars tickets.
June 1, 201016 yr Author Not many people have so many tickets they don't even want to buy the pretty gold armour ;)But it seems legitimate. Not very good though :-\ Thanks for helping though :-D
June 1, 201016 yr You can only use them in game, each set contains the following:Range - Cw super ranging, s defence, s energy.Melee - Cw super attack, s strength, s defence, s energy.Magic - Cw super magic, s energy, s defence. Each potion is a four dose, each set costs 1 ticket and is basically the same as a super potion outside Cw, besides super magic and range which I guess would be the equiv' to extreme magic/range. Popoto.~<3
June 1, 201016 yr Author Hmm, that makes the mage and range ones useful, as no extremes are tradable are they? Don't think a lot of rangers+magers have that high of herblore.

June 1, 201016 yr I hope they get cracking on fixing this nonsense after their bank holiday. Click the "Signed in as..." go to Manage ignored users, copy paste Toki_Hakurei.I'm pretty sure having boobs is the most broken super power anyone can ever have. 0_0
June 1, 201016 yr I think it's basically just a four dose super set that you can only use in-game. Pretty useless imo. I'm not going to waste castle wars tickets on something i can get off the GE for 7k~. I could see if they were extremes, but they're not. And even the magic one is just a essence potion. Which is less of a boost then a normal magic potion =S Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
