I'd recommend you trace one a few times, then try and freehand while looking at it, then freehanding without a reference. I find that's a fun way to learn to draw stuff. I find that's a fun way to learn to draw stuff.all i did was put a notebook on my lap (for a solid "platform"), put a piece of computer paper on that, took a picture of the deathbat with my old phone, and tried to replicate it.
