Good range training location?

I currently have 61 range, but was looking to train to the 70s for GWD. Was wondering if there were any particularly good training spots at my level (53 defense if it matters.) Thanks! :)

If you've finished The Fremennik Isles, train on Yaks.

If you've finished Biohazard, you can use King Lathas' training area. There are ogres in a cage.

 

For both of these, wear your best ranged gear and use throwing knives, if you can get them.

 

Another alternative is Fire Giants during/after finishing Waterfall Quest.

I've just answered something similar, I'll quote myself:

 

chaos druids are found directly along the tunnel from the entrance of taverly dungeon.

 

- 200 Hp, low defense, they die VERY quickly.

- Respawn in ~6 seconds, if the world is empty or even just one other person with you, you're going to be constantly in combat.

- extremely easy to safe-spot, but this is only relevant to 1 defense pures.

- Drops include most high level herbs very common to get two at a time (double ranarr drops included). If you leave all herbs harralander and below, your full inventory of loot can easily reach 150k+ depending on specific herbs. A full inventory takes ~80-90 minutes. You should be 1mil+ richer by the time you hit 70.

- If I recall correctly, it's roughly 30k ranged exp an hour (give or take 10k) at 60-70, depends how concentrated you are. It's hardly something you can afk. If you play for about 3 hours a day, it should take you less than a week to reach 70.

If you cant get bronze knives, you might try iron or even steel. They are a little more yes, but they buy easier, and they are better than bronze knives.
