Probably not, I dont even see anything on it being against the rules. Idk why everyone is saying p servers are against the rules because they aren't.

 

They are not agaisnt the rules directly, they are however against the law and the copyright and it is mentioned in the terms and conditions you agree to when making an account.

 

The Terms and Conditions that nobody reads.

 

Ignorance is no excuse. You sign up for a service - you agree to the terms and conditions and the consequences if you do not. Whether you read them or not, they apply.

If they can enforce them.

Jagex shut down the previously most popular private server. So yes.

Wasn't that [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] or something like that? That name is what sticks out most prodominately in my head.

 

EDIT: Apparently it is a Jagex rule violation, seeing as how it is censored with Jagex Rule Violation, imagine that. ;)
