I tried today my luck down at Nomads and almost had him. (He was berserk and less than 5% hp left and then I lagg and die -.-) I was using ruby (e) with range void and used the kyatt tactic with first using tort full of brews.

Now I've tried couple of times again and failed much earlier so I'm wondering would it be better use range armor with better def like karils skirt (yeah I know, it degrades when you die but idc) and acp? I know my range level is not extremely high but almost killing him at first try kind of encouraged me to stick with range rather than meleeing him.

 

I also noticed that when I put my ambush scrolls in my neizzy helm it kept saying that I dont have enough scrolls when I was spamming the kyatts spec and the kyatt didnt do anything, was that a bug or what?

You are supposed to discharge it when you have the inv space

Make sure you hide behind a pillar too, helps a lot. I wore blk d'hide. Works fine.

Just keep an inventory space for the scrolls, it's a hassle to have to discharge them. And stay with blk d'hide, he's going to hit pretty much the same if you wear Karil's. ACP if you have it, but I wouldn't buy it just for the fight. Make sure to spec him with BGS or Darklight.

Nomad's defense is too high for void to be effective. You should switch to something that gives more of an accuracy bonus.

Thanks to all replies, after switching void to black dhide+blessed coif and b gloves the battle went much faster and I was able to defeat him with plenty brews left. :)

try praying eagle eye the whole time as well
