I've been playing well over 5 years, and I've always noticed one thing about RS, now carried into RS2. You ALWAYS get the illusion that it is night. It never seems like day does it? Because its black past where the landscape loads, I feel they should make this.....a sky color? maybe LOL or consider RS cycling through night and day, similar to like FFX1 and Everquest.

the cycling through night/day would be cool if certain things happened only at night or day (for instance, maybe ghosts will roam around the map at night, while other animals do during the day). But im sure this would take too much memory to implement.

hes not talking about having a night and day cycle, hes saying it allways looks like nght becuase of the background colour when the landscape and buildings havn't loaded in.

I know, but it's been suggested. Many times. I certainly wouldn't want it to be implemented if it affected what I could do, i.e. not being able to kill a certian creature in the day or at craft at night. If it doesn't affect anything, fine, but I still think it looks fine the way it is now.

I and I expect many others count years as a complete cycle of 365(+1) days. Seeing as there have not been 5 sets of these completed cycles as to date, I highly doubt how someone could have played in excess of these 5 years.
