Hi guys I have several questions

 

1. Should I use a fighter torso or granite body, the latter hAs more defense

but the torso has strength bonus

 

2. If u said torso, is barbariAn assault kind of easy to play, like will I be able to grasp it all within 30 min, and how long will it take me to get About 550 pts

 

3. At what range lvl should I attempt tzhaar fight caves for a fire cape, and how much money should I get for equipment , or is dhide sufficient

You've never played BA before, then? If so, you don't really have any business trying to get a Fighter Torso. You can't get it in a reasonable time frame (i.e. fast enough that it's worth the trouble) unless you're already a pro with a pro team. You have 80 defense, so use barrows--it's almost always better than the torso anyway. And if you don't need the defense, use a Proselyte Cuisse instead and turn on your 10% strength prayer; it'll be more effective anyway.

 

As for fight caves, I just waited until I got a Fight Caves slayer task. But I could see how you might not be interested in that if you can't use Kuradal yet.

Takes a lot longer than 30 minutes to get a torso. For an inexperienced player on a typical world 6 team, try 7 hours or so. For a pro player on a pro team, more like 2 hours max.

If you are using it for its defensive capabilities, all you need is the piece. If you want the set effect (guthan's healing, for example), you will need the full set.

It degrades once every ~15 hours and it costs a few k to fix. Pretty much completely negligible.

There is a specific time at which barrows armour does degrade. I will say that it takes quite a while and that the repair costs are well worth the defense. The repair costs are not too bad either.

Torag, Guthan, and Dharok platebodies are all exactly the same, so use whichever of them is cheapest.

dh or torags. Wear them with a v skirt preferably, its the best barrows legs.

V skirt is the best barrows legs because of its great prayer bonus. Whenever you are meleeing, you should be praying at least superhuman strength/berserker, if not Piety/Turmoil. ALWAYS.

 

Guthan, Torag, and Dharok tops are all the same, as stated above. Personally I like Torag the best since Guthans makes you look fat and Dharok puts a little too much emphasis on one shoulder.

 

As far as Helms go, Verac's is best for the same reason the Skirt is the best.

 

Keep in mind that instead of using a Torso, you can borrow/buy a Bandos Chestplate. I don't recommend it, but it's an option.

 

Barrows will cost you about 7k per hour OF COMBAT. All things considered, that's pocket change.
