vox1st
So I decided I want to get some skills to level 60, mainly for stealing creations. But in my quest to do this I started at 2.8 million gold, and smithing and other such skills aren't always so cheap and if done a certain way lose money. So I decided to go slower ways and make a little money along the way rather than lose it(unless it was like mining and other gathering skills). So once I got to fletching I first just added feathers to the mithril bolts I had smithed. This yielded some good xp and money. Here is the real odd part. Since it didn't quite put me over to 60, I fletched about 300 unstrung maple longbows with my trusty sacred clay knife for faster xp. I bought 1000 maple logs though for 54 coins each which amounted to 51k about. So I found I had too many logs, so I tried to sell them, no one took the offer at middle price, so I just threw up my unstrung bows, and what I saw shocked me. the medium price for UNstrung maple bows was 100 coins each! Not only that but as soon as I put them up they sold! So why is this so? Why is this so? Bows
Why does it matter? They sold, they're junk, you made money. Enjoy the cash.
Bad911
They've always been like that, the price actually fell, you used to be able to quadruple your money fletching maple logs (30gp to 120gp). The people that buy them string them, the ones that buy the finished products alch them. Although they lose a ton of money, I guess the word doesn't spread. Saunamajuri
So the explanation for this is ignorance? I accept.Ignorance is a bliss. Especially if you benefit from it.So better not question it. ;-) P.S. grunts are awesome. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right.
