Chin 99 range

Im 84 range looking to get 99 via chins. I have a few questions first.

 

1) Red chins or grey?

 

2) Is there a familiar i should use? Im 88 Summon.

 

3) Estimated cost?

I used gray chins, and it cost so much less, and was about 60k xp less per hour. So that's my personal preference.

I have never heard of anyone using grey chins, and as for using a familiar, I used a bunyip just to heal for the damage taken from falling rocks....a tortoise probably wouldent be worth it because you would have to have it for a long time to use all the supplies, and your trips would probably be over 5 hours with it so...unless that is your thing :P

I used grey chins aswell because they were highly recommended by members of tif. They are half the cost and like 2/3 the xp (don't quote me it's been awhile). Since i was on a budget i thought that sound pretty good. It worked out really well and saved me a ton of cash. This was about a year ago so idk prices of chins really anymore so i wouldn't know the estimated cost or anything. For a familiar, i guess a tort if anything but you really don't need a familiar.

My estimate ranged from 85-99 training: Iron Knife Yak from 85-95, 95-99 using red chin = 19 days totals.

:o 19 days? 95 - 99 took me 5 days on average 750k xp a day 2 or 3 hours each day

Thanks for the replies. I bought 45k red chins which should get me almost to 99, if i did my math right. That was only like 26m plus a few mill in pray pots. So Im happy its not killing my bank or anything lol :thumbsup:

If you could bump up that summon level by one, a geyser titan helps maximize exp/hour; a tort would work fine but you will probably get very bored using up all the supplies.

Any idea how much xp/hr the geyser titan gains? I have the charms for it.

Try to get the geyser titan. It's 15-20k extra free xp.
