I've noticed that some herbs (ranarr) and seeds are dropping in price. Is this because of the Resouce Dungeon release? I know things like limps and blue dragon scales as well as Grimy ranarr's are all dropping in price but seeds like Kwuarm and Cantadine are also dropping, any ideas why this may be?

Yes, it's just because people are panic selling. The idea in most peoples' heads is "oh no now that herbs will be easier to get herblore will be cheaper to train and so all herb prices will fall SELL SELL SELL".

Thats what i was thinking, I really want to get 85 herb even though i dont think i can afford it but im kind of hoping for this crash to help prices drop enough i can afford 85 without having to clean herbs all the time.

according to my calculations i need around 90m to get 85 and im about 60m short now so i dont believe ill be getting it any time soon...=[ oh well lol

Meh, it was the same thing when everyone thought sailing was gonna be the new skill....yews were around 550ea, normal logs up at 100ea. I sold 5k yews for a little over 3.4m prior, and when the skill was revealed, bought back those same yews for 1.8m. I say if you do believe they're crashing, wait till they bottom out. Then buy a decent amount and hope they introduce a 'smoking' skill revolving around the herbs....or at least one that they say will....lol.

Anything that makes herb cheaper for people is a good thing. There are probably so many people waiting for them to bottom out, i would try and buy them before the bottom if i were you.

Now would be a good time to buy, sell back in a few days :thumbup:

I think so i put in an offer of 2k for max and it didnt buy up =[ i did manage to grab up 2k blue dragon scales and 2k limps hopefully they pop back up in price.

I say harralander....personally because even if you choose to train with say, 40% of it, you can still break even with a big enough sale.

I bet it is crashing back to pre extreme levels. Cause it was inflated when extremes came out and now that people have reached that level they dont need to buy any more herbs so the price is coming back down as less people are training herblore for extremes.

@Brad: We all hope they do...imagine being able to get the wgs herby req on only 1.1m....from 1-65.....'drools'

its costing me 35m from 70...your doing something wrong.

I know herbs are generally picking back up now but there's a thread in Future Updates on the RSOF about needing new herb names for some sort of Dung Minigame.

That may have helped the crash slightly...

could be because im not sure what the best pot to make is. Although im thinking about getting 75 by cleaning then making pots for the last 10 lvls. (plus all my dragonkin lamps are going to herb as well)
