Trying for Fire Cape

Featured Replies

I just got assigned 280 Tzhaar and really want to get my first firecape. I was just looking for a good set up to use. I have a full slayer helm, chaotic rapier, and overloads. I'd prefer to use my rapier for the whole thing, just looking for a set up. Heres my stats if it matters.

Just wear bandos and sw/ardy cape, 12 prayer pots should be enough, 3 ovls, rest brews/random stuff you need to take.

A bit overkill huh? But I wont bash I dont have my cape yet either lol.

Anyway there are quite a few ways you can do it, depends on the gear you have and want to use. With those stats you wont need prayer as much as other people but its all good. You will need to range Jad for the record so most important thing would be rune xbow and some good bolts, diamond (e)'s or so should be of some help. Only problem you wwill have is prayer switching... like most. Obviously its not impossible but once you play for 45mins-to over an hour the stress will build a little bit and who knows.

You can easily melee jad, just keep pray on melee and switch to range/mage if you see his attack, then quickly switch back. With rapier and ovls, you shouldn't even bother with the healers, you will outdamage them.

I've heard of people meleeing jad with a cls/rapier. I was hoping to do that.
