December 3, 200520 yr Hi, I like using graphics programs, but lately my monitor has been very weird. At first, it is very blue, then very red and finally very green. I can't seem to find a solution on the monitor menu, so could someone help me set it so that it looks normal? Curse you Nomad!
December 3, 200520 yr RGB are how Pixels are made up (Or thats how I was taught). I 'think' on this, make sure there set to the same number. Would in in color settings for your monitor. (Shud be buttons on your monitor to click).
December 3, 200520 yr FWIW you might also try to degauss it if you have magnets near it Just mess around with the buttons on the monitor until you see degauss I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
December 4, 200520 yr Author I changed all RBG to the same, it still looks tinted. I can't see degauss anywhere, and I'm pretty sure there are no magnets near the screen. I can;t see deguass under the menu anywhere, but it may be named something diferent. I'll say the menu options, maybe you can recognise another name for degaussing? The Contrast/Brightness menu The Focus/Clock Menu The Vetical/Horizontal Positioning Menu The RBG Menu The Languages Mernu The OSD Menu The auto configuration menu (doesn;t help) The screen Info menu (1024x768, H:60KHz V:75KHz, Analoghue Input) And lastly, theReset menu (also no good) Any advice? Curse you Nomad!
December 4, 200520 yr what happened when it started to change? and does it flick through different schemes like really blue, then 5 mins latter really green? or has it stayed on 1 kind? how old is the monitor? Aussie Aussie Aussie, :D
December 4, 200520 yr and I'm pretty sure there are no magnets near the screen. Dont forget that speakers contain very powerful magnets on their voicecoil :) I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theatersArd Choille says (11:41 PM):I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear
December 4, 200520 yr How old is the monitor? Check it's plugged correctly into the PC. If the connector has become loose at one point, it will display colours incorrectly. Then again, if it's an old monitor, it may be on its way to monitor Heaven.
