Sportz
I've been powertraining my mining recently, aiming with a goal of 80. Currently I'm 74, mining granite using sc picks. But once I get 77, which would be better exp, mining granite with sc picks or mining concentrated coal? Also take into consideration the fact that I would have to get the points for granite (please don't say to get the horn from BA or not to play SC - I love playing SC and it's a nice break from mining). Usually I can get 23 or 24 points a game in SC, if that helps. NastyJenny
Do you plan on using SC picks at 77 for coal ? Well anyway granite is way faster no matter what, when i mine con-coal i can get as low xp/hour as while *banking* iron... With a Lava titan/coal bag/rune pick. Con-coal is overrated for xp lol, hope gold at 80 isn't.
ultimatballr
From a speed point of view I would say Granite is going to take the cake when it comes to exp/hour. However, personally I did Con-Gold to 99 mining simply because it was a "set it and forget it" skill. I much prefer one click skills like Fishing and Woodcutting as opposed to the more click intensive ones like Agility and Thieving.. That being said, which do you think you'd prefer? IF you can deal with the clicking on granite than by all means go with that, if you'd like to relax then head to the Con-Coal and read a book in the process. Also, you might be better off using your SC points for needles or hammers if you plan on training Crafting, Con or Smithing in the near or distant future. I am not 100% positive, but you mine as well get the best exp for your time spent playing the mini-game which is better served by the needles and hammers. (Just a suggestion) Apparently, my signature was to big.
