Dragon Pick drop rates

Is there any actual testing of what the drop rate is? I keep hearing dwogres have the highest, but I still have a doubt in my mind about that.

 

Edit: And what's a good sample size to test for the drop rate?

20 observations is the generally accepted minimum sample size to make conclusions.

 

That is, 20 dragon picks.

I guess dwogres having the highest droprate would make sense because they are the highest level and have no other unque drop like cannoners cannons and shots.

 

I'm curiouss to see your results if you really are going to get atleast 20 picks. :P

BTW, even when you do get 20 observations you'll still have a moderately large margin of error. For example if you kill 20,000 and get 20 pickaxes, you will only be able to say with 90% confidence that the drop rate is between 1:700 and 1:1600.
