So for those whom played Runescape back when classic was not classic yet should recall a few cool memories, write as many of them down as you wish.

 

I have some myself.

 

 

I remember i was training on the skeletons in varrock sewers one day, just infront of the iron gate, i think behind it were lv 22 ghosts.

People would light fires infront of doors and gates so people wouldn't be able to open them anymore.

People could also make figures on the minimap by burning logs, a cyan dot would show up for every log that's been lighted.

 

Another good one i remember were the sounds, sound was actually a member only feature but there weren't too many, perhaps 20 different sounds perhaps even fewer and they all sounded rubbish.

I do miss the sound of doors opening and closing (especially shutting a door) doors, those sounded pretty nice.

 

 

Also, red party hats once had the price of 3.2M exactly as much as dragon meds (which were stable for a long time at 3.2M)

I went out KBD hunting and in around 50 kills i got 5 dmeds, i then exchanged one for a red phat.

A couple of days after that i got keylogged, damn what an idiot i had to be.

 

On the one and only day bunny ears were dropped i was sick and due to my young age and still living with my mom i wasn't allowed to play runescape nooooooooes.

If i ever get cancer i go to make a wish foundation and i'll demand my goddamn bunny ears.

I also remember the update of the mage arena, that was one of the first minigames besides the trawler which came earlier.

 

 

 

But lets go back to my first days of RS, i was incompetent back then so there's no need to point that out, go troll someone elses topic.

When i first started playing, after "classes" were scrapped i actually got lost in lumbridge, boy that was fun.

Thus i started to chop some wood and lighted some logs then i wandered off even further and found an air rune spawn which i thought was being guarded by a (lv21?) unicorn.

I then quickly ran back where i came from into alkharid where i killed men and collected leather boots to fund me a mithril scimitar, scimitars blowed back then.

I then met a friend, idk what his name is anymore but i sure miss him :(

All I remember is logging in once when I was f2p in RS2, I walked around a little before I grew tired of it and went back to RS2.

I wasnt able to log in to keep my classic account activated when they decided to close down the servers because I wasnt a Member back then.

 

Thats pretty much all of my RSC memories. :P

My favorite memory from back then was my clan (a bunch of noobs now that I think about it<3) had our weekly clan gathering on top of varrock castle in world 20 I believe. It was a simple time, and our leader Ladynaomi1 (retired ~8 years ago?) owned a yellow phat when none of us really knew or cared to know how valuable it was. We were so silly back then and carefree. It was way before the efficiency madness kicked into RS and people all began powerleveling everything. I remember when I became the first person in my clan to own a dragon item (a mace at the beginning of RS2) and brought it to the Varrock bar near wildy were we had our first RS2 meeting before a pk trip. I instantly became known as the girl with the pom-pom ;) My last memory will be the war we had with the 25th Legion (closed now I'm pretty sure) we were crushed but It was just so fun to bring my R2h into the wildy and have fun with my clan. I honestly miss those times a lot nowadays. I might be maxxed out, have a lot of skills, and know a lot more about the RS community than I used to, but that time when I was just a silly little 13 year old was definitely some of the best times I've had on rs.

 

P.S. Making money killing Zammy monks and selling the steel maces at fally shop thinking that was great money. Any1 else did that?

Hahah yes, i actually did that t but it was great money back then wasn't it, at least if you couldn't enter the mining guild because that was the only other place you could make easy money basically.

I slipped and missed.

 

Then I left.

I remember the day Jagex mass banned a bunch of auto'ers, and the auto'ers retaliated by auto-closing bank doors so you couldn't get in while spamming "Unban the cheaters!".

 

I also remember the day pink party hats got duped. I was ranging black knights and my friend was like, "Come to Varrock! They're dropping party hats!". I didn't go, though :'(

 

Damn, I've been playing this game a long time.
