If somebody wants to follow me and bug me, they are wasting there own time and not mine. Simply right click on there name and press Ignore. Viola, later you can choose to teleport or if there is a wall or something around you can try and trap them behind it.

I always find it fun to go to the nearest guild and leave by a different door, or just start walking in circles 8)
