Trimmed Armour

Featured Replies

Hi, i was wondering with the upcoming treasure trail update, would it be wise to purchase trimmed armour before or after the update, more specifically trimmed rune (saradomin).

Didn't Jagex say the are going to give every TT a 'special' reward?

If they do, I figure the rewards will be more common which will result in a price drop.

If the above happens it is not advised to buy them before the update obviously.

Ofcourse I can't tell what the update includes but I can't see jagex causing any dramatic changes to the prices (I have a feeling the 100% guaranteed TT specific items are firelighters or other junk) however, people might start selling their trimmed armors in order to buy the new ones causing a panic leading to everyone selling their causing even more dramatic drop in prices. I'd wait to see what will happen.

It's a gamble.

Right now, most tt items have crashed significantly because of the update and people being scared that they'll become much more common.

However, with all the new items that are being introduced it's very possible that the drop rate of sara armour will decrease, making it rarer and driving up the price to even higher than it was before!

Of course it's still possible that even if this does happen, better armour will be released that sara rune meaning that it will crash.

It's a gamble, either you're willing to take it or not.

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

I wouldn't be surprised if most of the rarer items were kept at exactly the same rate, and the extra drop chances just filled in with lesser items.

All TT stuff will at least suffer a temporary decrease, though.
