Armoured Zombies are the best combat xp, requires defender of varrock and recommended Haunted mine for salve ammy.

Azs are good, as mentioned, as they give about 125k+ xp/hr while pietying (I'm sure turmoil is more)

Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.

This tbh, armoured zombies are awesome exp, just camp them for a lil while, and you'll get 85 str in no time with your SS, piety and salve amulet!

Armoured zombies are usually very packed, so I'd suggest you try zombie monkeys too.

It requires monkey madness, there's a guide in the AOW on it.

Basically this:

1. Bring a familiar (training str of course), some super sets (no def pot needed), and prayer potions. Holy wrench if you want, and also ape atoll teles and a greegree.

2. Tele to ape atoll, equip greegree, run past the monkey guards and down the ladder. Go a little north to where the 2 level 129 zombie monkeys spawn.

3. Equip weapon, pot up, summon familiar, and pray melee.

4. Using 10% attack and strength prayers are recommended too.

5. Leave on auto-retaliate, and chillax, prayer potting as needed.

6. After 10 minutes, they become unaggressive, so repeat steps 2-5 until you run out of supplies.

Oh and wear prayer boosting equipment so you save money on pray pots.

Living rocks are pretty good. Strong drops (stackable too), low defense (weak to crush too, since you're using SS), high HP. And they give more xp per damage than ordinary monsters. Plus you sometimes get lucky and get the chance to kill a Patriarch, which is a nice bonus 200k.
