mikeizmo5
just got 162 of these for a slayer task they are hitting em really hard and at this rate its going to take me about 25 tips to finish the task. What the best set up for these? should i just protect melee although thats going to use a lot of prayer pots and be expensive :S oh and its the lvl 90 ones im killing... Quyneax
Fight them in the lighthouse, using a cannon. You'll lose money but it's some of the best fun you'll have slaying dagganoths. Setup: barrows/bandos (for ranged defence), whip + defender or a shield if you really need the defence. 1k cannonballs or so, a super set, some prayer pots. Pray piety and don't forget to search the drops for snap seeds. Taihaku
If you're after decent drops, (Warrior/Archer/Berserker Helms) then kill them in the chaos tunnels. Use Full proselyte whilst praying ranged and just go to town on them XD The good thing about the chaos tunnels is that it's multi, so you can semi afk there as long as you pay attention to your prayer. Have fun on your task, dagannoths are some really fast exp. :)
Zephy
It's odd but the lighthouse is probably the safest place for these. The ones down there are really inaccurate. Whereas the waterbirth ones have better drops but (oddly seem to) hit a ton more often. Wear as much range/melee defense as you can, including barrows if you can get it and maybe obby shield over the usual defender. I did this long ago and was fine at flat 70s. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.
