Requesting Logo

Apocryphal

Recommended Posts

I know I'm new on these boards, but I've lurked for a while, and the community seems really nice, so I'm taking a chance.

I'd like to request a logo for a website with the text "Apocryphal News". It's a satirical news site (currently being worked on, logo is one last thing needed). I have no creative vision at all (or else I'd do it), so I'm giving you full creative liberties, just keep the type of site in mind and make sure the text is on there. Thanks!

See the problem here is I can make this action packed banner, in bright red and white. But then the rest of the site is in green and black, and the whole thing looks like [cabbage].

Can I ask what that means? He doesn't even have a site running yet, so how can it look like [cabbage]? Just curious.

He wants a banner.

A banner.

You don't make a banner first, then make the site, that doesn't make sense.

You make the site, then you look at the color scheme and make a banner that fits the site.

You don't build a house from the roof down.

Last paid commission for website design- First we went over site content, then we went over navigation, then color scheme, then lastly banners and logos. And the client didn't even like the logo, so we had to redo that.

Ah, I get what you're saying now. Makes sense (my apologies, I'm not a web designer by any means, just confused me a bit).
