This new metroid title from Team Ninja was revealed last year's E3 and is about to be released.

 

It seems to be engaging the action side of metroid more than the exploration setting, which is kind of a letdown and has a proeminent story.

Your thoughts? I personaly can't wait for this, even though i am more and more worried about this game the longer i see it.

I think it looks pretty good, though I am kind of worried that the atmosphere will be worse than in the previous games. They all had a really lonely feel to them, and now they're bringing in more support characters and such.

Yeah, I agree. I've always loved the "loneliness" of the Metroid series. But it certainly looks like an interesting game.

I'm extremely interested in how this game turns out!!! Metroid Prime 1 is one of my alltime favourite games, and I'd love to see another great Metroid game (even though it'll be quite different).

 

It's interesting that it's made by the same ones who made Ninja Gaiden, and I hope that will mean that the game will be extremely hard :twisted:
