Fight Caves + Aviansies

I have two questions:

1. What method should I be using for aviansies and what equipment should I bring?

 

2. I am going to try to kill a Ket-Zek for the Karamja Hard Diary and consequently I might

as well see how far I can make it, so what equipment would I need for Jad and what method should I use?

 

My budget is currently at 5.6 mil.

For jad you really need higher range, or a higher budget.

The gear I do have is really minimal especially for Jad but I want to make clear that killing a Ket-Zek is the priority, attempting Jad is just an afterthought considering I will be there.

The gear I have is:

Head: Neitiznot Helm

Amulet: Amulet of Fury

Body: Black D'hide

Legs: Black D'hide

Weapon: Rune Crossbow

Boots: Snakeskin

Shield: Granite

Gloves: Barrows

Ring: Explorer's Ring?

Ammunition: Broad-tipped bolts

My financial situation has changed with me getting back-to-back Torag's Platebody and Karil's Top (if it sells) so I now have roughly 11 mil at my disposal.

Any ideas on Aviansies?

You might want to sell fury if you're in need of cash. That way, avansies equipment can be better (why are you even killing aviansies?)

If you have 11m to work with, get Verac's skirt (in place of chaps with all the other gear you listed) and you're good to go with Jad. Bring ~8 brews and restores, 100 diamond (e) bolts, 3 ranging pots and the rest prayer potions, with EE and a pray pot in place of two brews if you have it. You'll around 1.5k broad bolts.

 

Verac's skirt is a staple of slayer and boss-hunting, it's certainly worth getting as it has a small prayer bonus and top-tier defence.

Well, you can sell any surplus back later and too many > too few, but you need less, yeah. They're also pretty good on the 360's, I hear, so you might want to bring a few hundred and use them on the 360's as well.

 

Which reminds me, as you are using an accumulator, you need only around 1500 broads. I'll edit my earlier post.
