August 16, 201015 yr i am in the process of getting 99 cooking, i am wondering if i should start monks at 84 or keep doing lobs until the no fail lvl of 90 for monks thanks in advance!!!
August 16, 201015 yr It would be quicker to just do monks, but I'd just do lobs till 86, then swordfish till 90, then monks to 94, sharks to 95, and rocktail till 99. That way you wont burn anything. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
August 16, 201015 yr Author alright, sounds like a good idea, it will take a little bit longer, but not burning anything is worth it
August 16, 201015 yr I did 80 - 90 on monks.. and then 90 - 99 sharks. Yes, you do burn a few.. but that didnt bother me that much..
August 17, 201015 yr I suppose it really depends on how much you're willing to spend. I didn't do monks until 90 (and by the way, that's not the no burn rate, they never "stop" burning, even at 99 you can burn them, it's just rare from then on). ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
August 17, 201015 yr Do wines or piecook on lunars until rocktails. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
August 17, 201015 yr Do wines or piecook on lunars until rocktails.my cooking spreadsheet isn't complete but it's still a good resource:http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-reference-spreadsheets/ anyways from what my spreadsheets indicate.Don't bother cooking sharks, go straight for cavefish/rocktails once you high cooking levels.Currently cavefish are better profit but less xp. But both training methods are comparable to each other. Wines are also a good option as well, comparable to cavefish/rocktails.I would recommend making wines to anybody, but you should consider switching to cavefish/rocktails if you're tight on money (make under 2 mil gp/hour) you really shouldn't be using anything else to train cooking other than cavefish, rocktails, and wines.
August 17, 201015 yr Author i'm kind of on a tight budget here, and according to spreadsheet i lose money doing wine, so i don't really think i can afford it atm, i'll do cavefish instead of sharks, then rocktails from 95 to 99

All players should be making at least 500k-1000k gp/day from daily activites. That should easily fund cooking with wines.
August 17, 201015 yr Author my budget for this is about 8mil, approximatly how much would i lose from 85 to 95 doing wines?
August 17, 201015 yr my budget for this is about 8mil, approximatly how much would i lose from 85 to 95 doing wines?~9 mil at current pricesyou should just earn some extra money and burn it for the sake of training faster.9 mil is only like 2 weeks of daily activities. not much in the grand scheme of things.
August 17, 201015 yr Do sharks from 80 till 99... I burned more monks at 80 than sharks. It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
