Mining Mithril ores in F2P

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to train my smithing lvl and I'm planning to mine my own ores.

I'm wondering what's the best place to mine mithril ores. I used to do it at the wildernis, I know that's a bad spot but I had alot of fun there =D.

anyhow, do any of you know a good spot or a good way to mine mithril ores.

i heard there was a rescourse dungeon, it was somthing with dungeoneering. with a bank slot and stuff. is that a good place?

i'm only 5 dungeoneering but I'm willing to train it anyhow for the coalbag :D .

So, what are u guys advice and stuff

thanks anyway ^^

What you're thinking of. It's probably one of the best things to happen to F2P mining.

The dwarven mine is the one with the bank deposit box, so that's the one you want to use. They're probably crowded, I don't know if the crowds have gone down since it's less new or if more people are there because it's become more well-known. If it is too crowded, and you can't switch worlds to get away from people, the next best place would be the regular mining guild (Not the resource dung there).

Do not mine ur own mithril ores. Mine iron by the resource dungeon then sell it THEN buy the mithril. You would get more xp, faster money, and get your smithing over with sooner.

The level 15 RD often has Mithril Ores which can be mined.

The level 45 RD more often has Mithril Ores which can be mined. And it has more of them. It doesn't have a Deposit Box that close, but the Falador Bank is close. The level 15 RD box is just as close (kind of) and when going there, you can mine the Mithril Ores there aswell. In the 45-one, there are Adamantite Ores aswell, which can be sold so you can buy Mithril Ore.

Or you can mine Iron Ores and bank them in the RD 15-deposit box. Sell the ores and buy Mithril Ores. Iron Ore and Mithril Ore almost have the same price, so I guess this would be the fastest way if Mithril Ore buys at a decent rate and Iron Ore sells at a decent rate.

And slightly Off-Topic: Coal Bag isn't needed imo.

Wield a Fire Staff. Have Nature Runes, a Pickaxe and 22 Mithril Ores in your inventory and go mine Coal and user Superheat. You can take 1-2 less Mithril Ores for gems or use a Gem Bag aswell.

Last time i checked in w7 at the lvl 15 RD, there was noone there (or maybe one other person) so that can't be much of a problem.

Tell me when you're mining, i want to get 80 mining, might aswell enjoy some company ;)
