Combat Training

I have been absent from Runescape for around a year now and I'm wanting some advice on what to train on and what weapon or armor to use now.

 

I'm level 97 combat

77 atk

76 str

71 def

62 range

68 mage

55 pray

61 slay

Slayer. Use a black mask/full slayer helmet, fury, prossy top, verac's skirt, dragon boots, barrows gloves, berserker ring, whip, rune defender, sw cape. Use a fighter torso if you have one, and bandos if you got it.

That covers most of it, just train slayer you can do some tasks and train your range and magic. Honestly I left for two years and the way things are done havent changed that much. So just get back into doing things how you used to. Your catch onto anything new soon enough. The biggest updates are really reserved for high level prayer/herblore, least the biggest game changers.

Slayer is indeed quite efficient. Use Sumona as your slayer master. Switch to Duradel later, and go straight to Kuradal once you have the combat and slayer level to do so.

Get 70 prayer and piety, Torag's body legs and helm, neitznot helm, full verac's, full guthan's, a fury, best recipe for disaster gloves available to you, obsidian cape or a better cape such as the fire or soul wars capes, warrior ring or a berzerker ring if you have the cash spare, get d boots too. And a slayer helm if you're slaying.

That's what I did, It's working really well, and my combat stats aren't that much higher than yours. But most importantly the 70 prayer.

Skip Guthan's, Torag's and Verac's, except Verac's skirt and Guthan's plate. Get Verac's helm if you intend to do lots of boss hunting. D boots > other barrows pieces for sure.
