Theros chucks more fire at the bat.

Mather, you wake up with a gasp having lost 1.0 summoning, you are cured of rabies.

 

Theros, the bat contorts and forms, more bats come out of its mouth and form in the shape of a man, and then you realise its not a bat at all. The swarm of bats in the shape of a man writhe around and nest in the invisible body until in a couple of seconds, it becomes a man, a vampire. The vampire attacks you.

Theros rips a chunk of wood off of one of the nearby buildings and tries to stab the vampire through the heart with it. (OH CRAAAAAAAP.)

Håkon goes out of the room and asks the guard if there's anything to do yet?

Theros, The vampire, blood all around his face with pure white skin and long claws screeches at you and manages to push you to the floor, you pick up some wood but it is smashed on the floor, you pick it up again and stab it through his arm but it doesn't even jolt him, his wounds reform as the wood is pushed out. He is wearing bloody doctors rags. The vampire wants to kill you, he doesn't want another vampire running around stealing your blood, careful not to bite you he drives your head into the ground with his fist, it breaks the soft mud around you but it fails to kill you, you just feel really hurt.

 

Hakon, The gobln outside, looking a bit bored guarding you tells you to go ask Borkin, the goblin who saved you. Borkin can be found in the deeper tunnels, near the main hall. He hands you a torch and makes a loud noise of relief.

Håkon searches for Borkins mind then heads of.

Theros mutters a few swear words, then tries one last time to stake the vampire with his bit of wood. If that doesn't work, he tries to light the vampire on fire with the charges in his staff and skull.

Hakon, you find his mind, probably from mind magic, probably from the large sign claiming to tell of the goblin tinkers with Borkin in large letters, although the 'b' was backwards and the O was actually a lump of mud you still managed to find his name. After walking down the stairs you find a couple of doors, and in the dimly lit door you find the door Borkin.

You knock.

 

Theros, you fail but you manage to send a fireball at the vampire, he's thrown into the air and he begins burning but as he carrys on walking the flames go out, he screaches again and flits towards you, he picks up a piece of wood and jabs it on your arm, he than picks up the wood you wanted to stake him with and stabs it in your other arm, your arms are powerless, the church catches your eye

Run for a crusifix!

 

Håkon waits. (Seriously you say I knock but not what happens next?)

Theros runs into the church. (Why the hell didn't I think of the church earlier? I mean, holy water, crucifix....)

...possible mad priest with a shotgun... no, wait, that's zombies.

Hakon, sorry my mistake. Borkin opens the door, he is wearing a spinning hat with blades and a hand projecting out of it. "Is me saved human, what you want?" and his hand gestures you to come in.

 

Theros, you run into the church, the vampire follows you in which is a rarity for vampires, you can see a crucifix and some holy water but as the vampire enters the church he makes the symbol of the cross on him, this is when you realise that he is not a doctor, his white robes were that of a priest, it is a church born vampire, immune to the power of the lord.

 

Half hour break, post your actions and I'll reply to them in half an hour, if anyone has UK freeview put on E4 and you'll know why!

Theros mutters "Awww, fuuuu-" before trying charge his staff with a holy water spell, using the holy water as a power source. (let's see.... church-born vampire..... BURN IT TO HELL.)

Håkon responds that he needs something to do.

Theros, you manage to suck up some water from around the church, it forms into a large globule encasing the vampire within it, than the vampire rips itself out of it and snaps your staff in half.

 

Hakon, "Well, I need invention making" and he handed you a bag full of equipment "make killer machine, make good". You open the bag and find.

What, no fiery reaction from the staff as the vampire broke it?

 

Theros takes the (hopefully) splintery remains of his staff and tries to stab the vampire through the heart with it.

Håkon asks what the blue liquid does.

Theros, you can still get a fiery reaction from it, its just that it must be sent out by a mage. The vampire leaps on you and pushes you on the floor, you flick out your staff and point it to his neck but at the lightning speeds that he moves he ignores you and bites your neck, as he does the staff is driven through his heart, killing him. You are nearly dead from the bite but you seem ok.

Hakon, "El..le..lel...lelec...tric...it..ty" Borkin struggles to get the words out but it seems it functions as a battery.

Theros tries to find something to make into a new staff.

 

(Wait, don't I turn into a vampire now? Or is that just with zombies/werewolves?)

Håkon dissasembles the mechanical hand and uses the springs to craft a simple shooting mechanism, then he begins creating sharp points on two long, thin wires which he connects to the fluid and attaches to the mechanism. He then makes adjustements so that the sharp edges may be fired with somewhat accuracy.

Theros, Yep. you find an addorned gold stick. You pick it up and gain a priests staff, it has no magical power in it at the moment and it will be rigourous journey to get to it but it is a lot better than your previous staff.

Hakon, you put it together and show Borkin, he nods and smiles but than gets back to his job, it looks like he is making a spinning flame bomb.

Theros tries to charge a few healing spells into a pebble, using whatever organic matter is left on the vampire as a power source.

Hakon, the goblin gives you a large plunger with an elongated end (looking like a pepper shaker)

Theros, you fail to find a pebble.

Wow. Of ALL the things that I've failed to find over the years, that has GOT to take the cake.

 

Theros tries to charge some fire spells into his new staff with the undoubtedly-smoldering ruins of the town.
