Havent been able to since this morning. What is going on? I need to make cash to get more pots for double exp weekend

I dont get the to screen to choose a world.

Close your browser, re-open it, go to the Runescape home page, and try again.

It's not just you - the "LOGGING IN PLEASE WAIT" wheel is spinning here also.

 

It tells me to choose a different world. HTH do you do that before you log in?

 

Ahhh - it's cleared up now.

According to a post I found on RSOF, a way to fix this is to log on using the "free to play" option, then choosing a members world from there.

 

I had the exact same problem, this fixed it - I also noted that the worlds my comp usually chooses automatically are currently offline, so that's likely why it was refusing to log in.

Several worlds are down and I suspect that also some of the Lobby worlds are down also (the screen that allows you to choose your world - each player is assigned to a 'Lobby world')

 

A possible fix for this is to go to Google, and search Runescape (Link here) and under the first result of the Runescape homepage you should see some options (Play now, Grand Exchange, etcetera). Click the Play Now option, as it's suspected to route you to a different Lobby server - one that isn't down (Source, RSOF).

 

Once you get into the Lobby screen, go to the World Select page (don't use your Favourite world quick option, they may be down) and choose a world that isn't offline. Hope this works for you and anyone else that is having the same problem.
