I don't really like any of them much, the first two are HDR attempts, but they really didn't turn out well, I tried using Photomatix.

The last one is a long exposure, but it's still pretty underexposed.

So go ahead, please advise.

I think the two first ones looked very well, however I'm not a photographer expert.. But the last one was just too blurry, but nice motives.

Did you shoot these in RAW? The photos are fine but the water is just a funny color.

Yeah, this was a couple of weeks ago, well more like a month, but I was trying out the Auto exposure bracketing and RAW

I'd suggest you open up the RAW files again and tweak them around to take the purple hue from the water because I feel it degrades from the photo.

This. Other than that, I really like the first two :)

The colours are off in the first two, yeah. You don;t even need to tweak with the RAW files, you can do it straight in photomatix.

Oh yeah Jimmy, these were taken about 10 minutes up a walking track from where I live, they flow into that stream that I took the pics of in flood.

Yeah, I might have another go at tone mapping them in Photomatix, I kinda suck at it, and after several attempts I though these were the best ones.

Practice, practice, practice. I must have done 30+ merges in photomatix and I still suck at it.

This photomatix is a hue changer thing? Cant you just do that in PS/GIMP with selections and curves?

Also: When i saw the title i though up of fun things (virginity, real parents and your sexuality) but then it just was about photos

Yeah, but why use two programs, when you already have one which does it really well already open!

Unless, of course you have the PS plugin from photomatix...

It's also supposed to blend multiple exposures, although sometimes I don't think it does a good job of that... Eh, I think I may go back and re-shoot the first two, won't be to hard as they're are close to home.
