Mage training/slaying

I've got 82 magic at the moment, and I'd like to get it higher.

I've got an SoL, Ahrim's hood/top, Dagonhai robes, Mystic boots, barrows gloves, chaos gaunts, seer's ring, glory, and a zammy book.

 

What tasks are good to mage, and what spell should I use?

 

For normal training, I used fire bolt on iron dragons, banking and selling the bones. However, since I am gathering bones for 95 prayer (slowly) that isn't a very viable option anymore. What's a good monster to kill for xp AND profit, and what spell should I use?

 

NB: I cannot stand alching, stunning, stunalching, other various non-combat training of magic. I'm willing to give it a try if it's something I haven't dome before, but it I get too bored really fast, I'll probably stop doing it.

certain tasks are worth maging some arent.

demons (greater and abbysal)

dragons (leather and metal)

nechs (these can make a profit some times)

strykewyrms

these are all worth a punt, these are just a few examples but cover most eventualities, there are however some tasks that may be worth maging that i havent tried.

 

you should also use fire wave the extra cost is minimal as deaths and bloods are near enough the same price and the time saved will mean you make extra money

 

edit: infact i just checked bloods are actually cheaper.

Anything with a low magic defence is 'worth' maging, but check this topic.
