Zaaps1 Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Personally, don't do that. I've tried killing bork in Barrows, Bandos, and Karils. Karils didn't work at all. The magic attack either somehow ignores your defense or is insanely accurate. Protect from Magic doesn't even block it. What you do when you get in the lair is you run to one of the 4 corners, going to the other that is farthest away from the mage. This minimizes the chance of him locking on to you. Note that he never focuses on you and follows you. He only fires a spell randomly if he is within your range. With any luck, he won't come in range if you hide in a corner, completely nullfiying the magic threat. Idk if this works for the first battle, but for your daily runs, it works. ~It's Super Effective! Also, soul split will just keep your health up at high enough melee stats (using melee ofc), so you can tank the whole thing.
