jayc3399
Just got a task of Iron dragons, going to mage them in Kuradels. Question, should I use Fire wave or Air Surge?. I have FSH, Mystic Robes, and will probably try to borrow a SoL. xpx
Surge, always highest spell, Magic is alot about the base experience(for example, you'd get much more experience from an ice wyrm task when you are a newb as opposed to using every bonus possible). Hedgehog
Just give it some time. Most likely you're unlucky and it will eventually pick up. If you're still killing slowly then, try ranging or meleeing them. However, it's quite possible that you're just being paranoid, it happens to me a lot when I try a new method of doing something or some other similar situation. Well, that's 13 casts per dragon. That's averaging 126.9 damage per cast. If you think you could do better with any other method then go for it. Knight_Zaros
Sounds about right, they are high level dragon with pretty strong defense. If your worried about the cost ranging and melee will profit especially if you bank the bones, but be much slower without some of the best gear (at least in terms of melee). jayc3399
Looking at it, aslong as I bank the bones I still profit huge. EDIT: take that back, its still loss. SirIzenhime
aren't metal dragons particularly weak to fire spells?Would trying Fire wave out to see if he hits better be a bad thought? Fisher/Woodcut------Me-----Miner/crafter----Stabber----Leecher ^Golvellius must be so proud^

EDIT: Tried out the fire spell and it "feels" like it is doing better. Not sure if that means anything.
