September 3, 201015 yr Errm, if it's pure ranged, doesn't that mean it will have no other skills? You get defense experience upon completion of the quest.

September 3, 201015 yr get 33 defence(once you complete the quest, it will be 40), and at least 40 range. It's not too difficult, but you might need quite a bit of bronze bolts.
