September 4, 201015 yr I want to try to play runescape and I logged into the game, I decide which world I want to go and I waited for the game to start up. What I got was music... To make a long story short there something wrong with the runescape game anybody else having this problem?

September 9, 201015 yr I'd do a scan with whatever anti-virus program you're using too. It would also be worth doing a scan with Malware bytes too imo. "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
September 9, 201015 yr Ive got the same problem, no viruses, reinstalled java, updated gfx card drivers, but nothing seems to work. The only way i can play at the moment is by playing in safe mode with graphics turned down. :thumbdown: EDIT: Cleared my jagex cache and runescape is now running fine again :-)
September 10, 201015 yr Author OK I tried emptying the cache from the .jagex_cache_32 folder in vista the booted the game up and ...... the problem still there I think it a certificate problem in Firefox plus Jagex just updated there Java certificate. http://services.runescape.com/m=news/java-certificate-update
September 27, 201015 yr Author I found a solution but it depends on what video card you use if your ATI videos card stop using the directx & switch it to openGL.
