I never thought of being able to speed it up that much, but I guess if it takes x number of ticks to mine with a rune pick and the increase is about 10% then it could in theory go lower. Unless the increase is on a sliding scale where the faster it occurs the bigger the effect, IE rune pick takes 2 ticks dragon takes one. so 50% increase. If you mine gold etc its worth buying it. It's quite funny, my friends and I (before it was released) used to joke about how good the dragon pickwould be, saying that you would probably just look at the rock, and the ore would appear in your inventory.
