Should I be using the small pouch while going for 91 runecrafting? I have had people tell me to use it, and some to not.

I just got it, which is why I'm wondering now.

You only have to bank 2 times if you use giant, med, large pouch. Which can save time from the third bank if you use all four patches.

For graahking? Absolutely not, 3 pouching is faster.

 

While using a lurker/parasite? Yes.

It really depends on the method.

 

As crashnburn stated, if you are Graahking, use 3 pouches, your best 3. If you're doing anything else like Abyss or ZMI, then 4 pouches and a familiar. I haven't personally tested out Astrals yet though, about even is what I've heard.

 

Through Abyss and ZMI, familiar with 4 pouches is faster by around 300-400 ess per hour from my results, than 3 pouches. Graahk can get about the same result with 3 pouches over 4 pouches.

Graahking is all about the speed, especial as wasting time = wasting graahk = a notable cut into profit margins.

So for Graahking you want 3 pouches so you only do 2 banks, this means up to lvl 74 you do small, med large. 75+ you do med, large, giant.

 

Any other rune or nats via the abyss where you are not working against a clock using all 4 is perfectly fine.
