Remapping Keys

I just want to double check this because I believe that it is okay, but would like some reassurance.

I've remapped some of my keys using a script program so that they do the following functions.

1=Leftclick

2=Move the mouse to the right

3=leftclick

4=leftclick

5=move the mouse to the left

6=left click

Pressing these buttons in series lets me fletch bolts as if I was using mouse keys but its in an easier setup. It still follows the one key one action rule but I'm not sure if having the script in the background that lets me do this will show up as botting. If it does is there another way to remap my keys to do the same thing without using this script?

As long as one mouse click/button press results in one action then you're okay.

I have decided that i'm comfortable with giving the following advice...

the guideline "one keystroke = one action" is often given in these types of threads. the problem with this is that in standard mousekeys, the + key maps to a "double click"

many see this as in conflict or contradiction to that guideline, yet jmods have confirmed it is okay to use the + key.

in programming, a "double click" is actually one event. javascript can listen for double click events in web browsers, java and other programming languages, and even windows recognizes double clicks as an action. i think it is therefore fair to map a key to a double-click.

on top of this, even if jagex disagrees with my above interpretation, they still allow the use of the + key to initiate a double click, so it's still allowed to map a key to the double click action.

so, if you believe me you won't have to grow an extra finger

they will detect your script based on the delay time between clicks. you will need to have a varying delay time to appear more human. id record yourself pressing 123456 for like 20 mins and analyze the distribution, it'll probably be normal, you will just need to find the standard deviation and mean.

You could argue releasing the mouse key isn't an action :P. But thats probably more philosophical then this should be.

Its not a script that runs the key presses, its a script that allows me to remap the keys. I still manually press 123456
