Friends Status Updates

Bows

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement but I think it'd be somewhat useful:

On the right side of the screen in a tab much like the "Watched Topics" section, it will show which friends updated their status, who commented, and what the status is. I'll try to make some pictures to show exactly what I'm visualizing, but I hope you can see it like I do. ;)

It would be cool, but unless there's already something like this, I'm sure it would be hard to implement and our techie has more pressing projects :(

This, pretty much, as always.

I do agree, it would be neat though.

You can see if a friend updated their status by

Forum.Tip.It > Your control panel > Settings > Notification Options

and in the Status Updates section you can change

Notify me of replies to my status updates

Notify me of replies to status updates I have replied to

Notify me when one of my friends updates their status

from nothing to Inline Notification.

It wouldn't be exactly what you wanted to, but atm it's as close as we have (I think)
