Dungeoneering

So, I basically want 85 dungeoneering for frosts and 85 herb for Super Antifires and Stew to ext. I have a lot of questions regarding this and if you could answer them all that would be wonderful.

1) What floors should I stop doing C1 Small solos and go to c6 mediums?

2) When should I stop soloing and make a perm team (or until at least 85)? Would the floor to start doing larges 5:5 be the same (ie 10 floors below your best)?

3) What are the basics of flipping, or reccomended buying and selling prices for an item thats stable, raising or crashing?

4) How much money could I expect to make from flipping to 85 dungeoneering which I estimate will take me to early december unless I find a really good team. Does this sound about right?

5) I am still thinking that I should do herb runs every hour and a half while soloing, is that a good idea when in a group of people teaming?

6) Can the chaotic rapier train all melee skills? (Attack, Strength Defence) Does it train them all with stab or is one of them a slash attack? If the strength is a slash attack would a Saradomin Sword be better training then a Chaotic Rapier?\

7) Will I have any need for a whip after a rapier? If not, should I sell it now to start flipping?

Thanks, I realise there is a lot of questions here =p

I'll dung with you. As for flipping, I make about 1.5m a night investing 30m. Just buy a stable item on the Top 100 Traded list for 2.5% under and sell it 2.5% over mid. Some good items are cannonballs, yew longs, coal, etc

Depends on the item. Some items 2% is more likely, and the profit margins get lower and lower as the item price increases (generally).

So for people who have to merchant 10 dragon claws because they have so much cash and can't buy enough in 4 hours of other items (25k yew logs = 12m? 10 whips 35m) they generally won't make as much as a profit as you will in regards to percentages.

Just going to comment about that farming herbs part:

as long as you're soloing, sure, go for it.

But if you're dungeoneering with a team which is going to continue, you'd rather not slow them down by going out just for farming break. Just do farming whenever the others of your team are done for that time, too.

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

2) Usually people require 80+ dungeoneering as a bare minimum

3) Flipping entirely depends on how much cash you have. Depending on the item, 500k-1000k is a decent profit margin for the amount you can buy in 4 hours. You can autobuy one and then set the price that much lower, raising if needed. Then obviously practice.

4) Well if you can make 2m/day with daily "chores" and flipping combined, the two months of October and November would net you 125m. If you have more starting cash, you can make 4-5m/day or even more.

5) If you are with a great dungeoneering team, put off EVERYTHING as long as you can because finding good teams is a pain. Otherwise, I would do a herb run every 2 larges or so.

6) Chaotic rapier is the best weapon for training all three melees. It has both stab and slash, attack and defence are stab and strength you can choose stab/slash (better to stab with higher stab bonus).

7) I wouldn't say you won't need a whip after getting a rapier. For one, the rapier degrades, so you may wish to use whip for simple things where it is more than adequate and you don't want to use money. Also, rapier can easily be lost on death and if you don't have another weapon ready you're screwed.

If the price of a whip makes a significant impact on your cashpile, then you don't have enough cash to be flipping. You're going to need a dozen million or two at the very least if you want to make noticeable profit right away.
