Clue scrolls

There are now:

Clue scroll(easy)

Clue scroll(med)

Clus scroll(hard)

Clue scroll(eleite)

 

I can only confirm that there is clue scroll (hard) but if they added this i suppose there is going to be easy/med and elite too

I think Opeth mis-interpretted here.

 

Though badly worded I do not think the OP is merely stating there are now 4 levels of clue scroll, I think he is referencing the fact clue scroll the item now instead of being 1 impossible to tell what level it is item (especially on monsters tht drop like hard and elite); it is now 4 separate items named Clue Scroll (Easy) etc. How true this is I dunno but I've heard others mention it.

I think it is a misunderstanding on your part that has lead to to think there has been a misunderstanding.

Not really.

 

1) It is a fact tip.it item datbase etc only lists the item "Clue Scroll" not Clue Scroll (Easy), Clue Scroll (Elite) etc.

 

2) It is a fact there is word going around be it true or not that clue scrolls are named as such now to differentiate them on drop.

Indeed. Previously, every Clue scroll was simply called just that, Clue scroll. As such we only have only one items database entry for it. The difference between the 'levels' of clue scrolls was explained in here.

 

We've been hard at work replacing occurrences of 'level 3 clue scroll' and the like with 'Clue scroll (hard)', so don't worry about that. As for the items database, we're still discussing if we should create separate entries for the four different types of Clue scrolls, or just leave it as it is right now.

 

 

If anyone could post confirmation on the actual name of a level 2 clue scroll that'd be great. The name 'Clue scroll (medium)' would make sense, but RS Wiki has it listed as 'Clue scroll (harder)', and 'Clue scroll (med)' as posted by the OP would also make sense.

 

Edit: it's 'Clue scroll (medium)' for the level 2 variant.

This has been dealt with and Clue scrolls (as well as related items that now also use the easy-medium-hard-elite tags) should have been updated :)
