so I need to get the ice dimond but i need spiked boots so i take an iron bar and my rock climbing boots to dunstan and talk to him select the option can u put spikes on my climbing boots then he says yes and talks about how they will only be useful in the snow then i select the option yes but i still want them and then he says ok but then i say but i dont have them on me when there in my backpack any ideas?

They are in your backpack, correct? You can only wear them on the ice path.

I'm not sure, but it is possible that it will only work with regular "climbing boots", not "rock climbing boots."

OT: If you're asking about why the spiked boots are in your inventory and cannot be equipped, they cannot be put on until you are literally on the ice path. Just bring them with you, and whatever else you need to beat the warrior and you'll be fine.
