I've been reading that the penance horn is worth charging in order to improve my xp in mining and agility. In order to charge it I need to play barbarian assault and was wondering if there were any clans dedicated to this. The only one I could find, Barbarian Assault Addicts, requires invites and that I spend a month before I'm allowed to be voted in. This is more time investment than I'm willing to spend for not actually playing the minigame. So if anyone knows of any others, I'd be happy to hear about them. I have level 5 in all roles and can remember how to do them all relatively well except defender (been a while since I last played).

 

If there are no other clans, is there anything I should do in world 6 in order to get myself into a decent team? (I don't have/want to spend points on full penance)

with level 5 all, you shouldn't have a problem finding teams. Wearing full pennance really helps with getting pro teams because it acts as a symbol that you actually played this game far beyond what you actually had to. It also puts you in like the top 10k for every role, which is nice to have for rankings.

 

I don't know any other clans, but you can find pro teams in world 6 and generally average like 28-30 min games.

This and what Pere said. Having more than just a torso and fighter hat is very important to finding pro teams. I also highly recommend that you learn tricks like QSing, suicide coll, and the proper way to defend.

I always like to pick people with Penance item, because it says basically this "I got experience", and i don´t care much about their level as long as they are not a level 70 player who´s gonna do healing.

 

 

Full penance set, is really a good thing to have. 1) Gives penance set effect = +3 prayer bonus per 1minute (1 prayer point per 20 sec). This will be useful for Mining in living rock caverns, Fight cave and other situations where you need prayer and u can wait for it to restore.

How long should a full run through of the waves take:

With a pro team?

With an average team?

 

And at what time per 1-10 completed will the penance horn xp be faster than regular training with ape atoll (no fails) and lrc?

Could I do some Ba with you? I'm a level 5 healer and I'm looking to fill my horn too :P
